Joffre Lakes
Three turquoise lakes in a hanging valley north of Pemberton — a permit hike, and worth the paperwork.
Day-use permits are required in peak season. Start early. The upper lake is the postcard; the trail is rocky and busy. Stage from Pemberton, not from a late start in Vancouver.
